Our Values

At Alabama Association of Nonprofits we believe that Nonprofits are more than charities. Indeed, the nonprofit sector in Alabama is a key component of our state’s vibrant business sector. Non profit organizations certainly contribute substantially to our collective economic health. Their presence in our state and its communities is an important economic development tool, too. If they did not exist or were weak and ineffective in meeting their missions, our state would suffer and our social capital would not meet its potential.
