Regional Leadership Councils
The Alabama Association of Nonprofits (AAN) has 10 Regional Leadership Councils comprised of nonprofit professionals in communities throughout Alabama. The primary role of each Council is to connect the nonprofit organizations in their region, and to assist AAN in the marketing of services, membership recruitment and advisement of local nonprofit issues. Members of the Council serve a one-year term at which time they can be reappointed for an additional term. 
Current Regional Leadership Councils:
Region 1: Representing the counties of Colbert, Franklin, Lauderdale and Lawrence
Region 2: Representing the counties of Jackson, Limestone, Madison, Marshall and Morgan
Region 3: Representing the counties of Fayette, Lamar, Marion, Walker and Winston
Region 4: Representing the counties of Calhoun, Cherokee, Cleburne, DeKalb and Etowah
Region 5: Representing the counties of Greene, Hale, Marengo, Perry, Pickens, Tuscaloosa and Sumter
Region 6: Representing the counties of Autauga, Bullock, Butler, Crenshaw, Dallas, Elmore, Lowndes, Montgomery, Pike and Wilcox
Region 7: Representing the counties of Chambers, Clay, Coosa, Lee, Macon, Randolph, Russell and Tallapoosa
Region 8: Representing the counties of Barbour, Coffee, Covington, Dale, Geneva, Henry and Houston
Region 9: Representing the counties of Baldwin, Choctaw, Clarke, Conecuh, Escambia, Mobile, Monroe and Washington
Region 10: Representing the counties of Bibb, Blount, Chilton, Cullman, Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair and Talladega
