About your trainer:
Joanna Brand is the CEO/President with The Arc of Walker County. The agency serves hundreds of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities every year. With more than 20 years of nonprofit experience, Joanna's leadership has been recognized with multiple awards. Most recently in 2024, she was awarded the Executive Director of the Year by ACE/Arc at the Alabama disAbility Conference. Jo anna has developed skills and abilities to work with a broad range of stakeholders. A strong leader in nonprofit management, Joanna advocates for services that impact the entire state of Alabama. Joanna serves on multiple state subcommittees, boards, civic organizations, and advisory committees and provides consultation to nonprofit professionals.
