Event Details

Let’s be honest, no (or very few) nonprofit leaders join organizations because they enjoy accounting. But, like it or not, by understanding the financial drivers and health of your organization you’ll be able to more effectively accomplish your mission. This interactive webinar removes the jargon and sets the foundation for financial leadership. We’ll explore what financial leadership looks like and how leaders from all departments can embrace this role. We’ll also strengthen your financial literacy, explaining the purpose and peculiarities of nonprofit financial statements. Beyond reading financials however, we’ll also use them to assess your organization’s immediate and long-term financial health and discuss strategies for improving it. At the end of the session, you’ll have deepened your financial understanding of your organization and be ready to use them to make strategic decisions.

*We hosted Steve Zimmerman in 2022 and this session is being offered again due to high demand.
