About the Training - Level 101 and above
What if a donor’s attorney told you their client had included your nonprofit as a beneficiary of their estate plan for $100,000 at their future death? And then the donor changed their Will to include another nonprofit instead, because they never heard from you after you were notified of their gift?
You just LOST $100,000!
This is one of many real life examples you will work through in this training as you:
1) learn how to secure these six-figure gifts and keep them with proper donor stewardship;
2) learn the language of planned giving (hint: it’s NOT about death!);
3) learn how you can build a solid program with little or no extra budget;
4) learn how legacy gifts can increase your bottom line today, not twenty years in the future.
This is not a training on taxes or technical aspects of legacy giving, but rather about marketing & securing gifts. You'll leave rehearsed and well prepared to call on your top three prospects and master your fears!
We hope you'll join us!
